Enroute to the other side of the world in January I will have two days in Hong Kong. I am staying in the Peninsula Hotel.

Has anyone any suggestions as to the best use of these 48 hours, I would like to see as much as possible?

Thats a nice hotel - Make sure to check out the felix bar on the top floor. The view from the mens urinal is supposed to be one of the best in the world. We missed it our son was with us (no children allowed). Hong Kong is a cool place. We had 3 days there in January en route to Oz. Make sure to see the symphony of lights (http://www.discoverhongkong.com/eng/showtime/lighting/index.jhtml). Better to see it from the mainland side (at the convention centre) as you'll hear the music as well. Do some shopping. The night markets are good esp ladies market in Mongkok.

Make sure to visit the peak which is a mountain overlooking Hong Kong which you can jet a bus/tram up to (scariest journey ever if you don't like heights like me). amazing views from the top.

we also went to Ocean Park (theme park) but you probably will not have enough time to do that if you only have 2 days.

Have a look at some of the great advice that was given to me:
