    Anyone have any experience of a good voip provider in the uk? want to reccomend one to family

    Hi

    they do not need to use a UK based provider they can use a provider in other countries if they think is cheaper.

    Some the them are:

    voipuser.org
    sipgate.co.uk

    I know freespeech.ie/freespeech.co.uk can provide Irish numbers and UK numbers, perhaps that's a good idea you can then call them cheaply from any phone.

    nothing to stop one using Blueface in the UK, they can even give UK Geo-numbers i think.
