    Windows Movie maker outputs WMV files, DivX is another type of video codec in order for a DVD player to play your videos you would need to find one with WMV support.

    Haven't seen one myself that's not to say such creatures don't exist, it might be easier to re-encode your video into MPEG4-ASP (XviD/DivX) which is what most of the players support. This would allow you to keep the file size small for CD's.
