    Hi,
Recently my Ipod started acting up, so after reading some articles I decided to buy a new HD. From here:
    http://www.notpopular.com/blog/comments.php?blogID=63
the HD in the Ipod with clickwheel is a Toshiba Mk2004GAL - this article said that they were unable to find a Mk2004GAL, so they used an Mk2006GAL. I was unable to find either of these, so I ordered a Mk2008GAL (took a quick look at the spec - but missed the connector). When I received it I found that the Mk2008GAL has a ZIF connector, compared to a pin connector in the earlier models. I have been unable to find somewhere that sells the ZIF connectors - any chance that anyone else changed the HD in their Ipod and ran into the same problem? If anyone knows of a site that sells ZIF connectors can you please let me know.

    Many Thanks,

    Barty
