2 hands that had me thinking the last few days. Villian 1 is tight with a 14/3 stats from about 50 hands.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($100.50)
    UTG ($102.75)
    MP ($368.63)
    Button ($159.63)
    SB ($91.75)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3spade.gif, 5club.gif. MP posts a blind of $1.50. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG raises to $2, 2 folds, SB (poster) calls $1.50, Hero calls $1.

    Flop: ($7.50) 3club.gif, 5heart.gif, Qdiamond.gif(3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks.

    Turn: ($7.50) 6diamond.gif(3 players)
SB bets $6, Hero raises to $15, UTG folds, SB calls $9.

    River: ($37.50) 5spade.gif(2 players)
    SB bets $25, Hero ?

    Hand 2
Villian is again tight enough with a 22/7 stats from about 40 hands

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em,(6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($118.05)
    MP ($98.50)
    CO ($104.30)
    Button ($95.20)
    SB ($91.45)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 5club.gif, 5heart.gif. CO posts a blind of $1.50. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
Hero calls $1, 1 fold, CO (poster) checks, Button calls $1, 1 fold, BB checks.

    Flop: ($5) 7spade.gif, 7diamond.gif, 5diamond.gif(4 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, CO checks, Button checks.

    Turn: ($5) 2spade.gif(4 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, CO checks, Button checks.

    River: ($5) Jspade.gif(4 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4, CO folds, Button raises to $30, BB folds, Hero ? call push/raise?

    Push both

EDIT: I would play both these hands much more aggressively. Don't slowplay here at all.

    1. call and expect to lose

    2. call and expect to win. I could just about understand push.

I don't really like your play in these hands, if I had to single one part out it would be the turn play in hand 2.

I prefer to bet the flop in hand 1. Based on his stas hes more than likely QQ/KK/AA. He doesnt seem scared of the paired board though so maybe calling is better unless he'd call a push with an overpair.

I dont like the open limp in hand 2. As RT said, i dont like the check on the turn either. I'd probably bet the flop as well. I raise here every time.

Why are you guys calling in hand 1 ?
    I like a shove.

I like a shove in hand 2 also - he can have lots of hands that are behind us and will call.

Yeah hand 2 I shove, he has a flush
hand 1 there is a good chance he has QQ, I think I would just call.

I hate your play in both hands up those points

Doesn't seem too likely that the SB has QQ in hand 1 tbh. Something like A5dd seems probable.

Oh whoops I thought villain in hand 1 was UTG.

In Hand 1 i reraise and villian pushes and shows 33 for the lower house.

Hand 2: Quote Ian Mac-I dont like the open limp in hand 2. As RT said, i dont like the check on the turn either.

In a 6 handed game i'll open limp with small pps and hope for set value. If I open raise and am reraised well more than likely i'll have to fold so i tend to stick with the former. Is my reasoning about this flawed?

Explain why i should bet the turn herei n Hand 2 ?I have the deck pretty much crippled bar a higher house. If a spade hits i feel i'll get paid more because Villian might think i wont put him on it. If i bet on turn the ONLY hands calling are someone with a 7 or a really strong draw.

Criticisms please.I will post hand two results after responses

I thought he was the preflop raiser

You bet the turn to build the pot. This is absolutely crucial - you need to make the pot as big as possible with your monster hands. Checking 2 streets with a house and a tiny pot is incredibly bad play. All sorts of hands call you; dont worry about that. Also you need to charge flush draws because they wont put any more money into the pot if they miss
