mmmmmm....not sure if thats good news or bad news , on the one hand Nvidia may better integrate now with intels motherboards and gain a performance swing ,
On the other hand as ATI are now owned by AMD maybe ATI boards will become better suited to AMD only motherboards , meaning that an upgrade pack of Motherboard processor and ram now entails a graphics card also !!

Seems somewhat unlikely as NVIDIA don't really gain anything and Intel has been on a cost cutting spree lately.

NVIDIA are a very ambitious & aggressive company and it would please NV nothing more then to boot Intel from it's perch and take its place.

NV also will eventually get into the CPU game, they already make everything bar the CPU just one more piece of the puzzle left & the own the IP for all that technology and GPU's have become far more complicated than CPUs so they have no shortage of talented engineers either.

To top it off Intel only just signed an agreement with Imagination Technologies (PowerVR) and have been stealth hiring 3D engineers/developers etc. so I don't think Intel are going to be after NVIDIA.

Still after AMD/ATI I will never say never.
