    I haven't played a hand in an hour+ and have been playing the rock. I'm looking to take this down on the flop after nobody showing any strength preflop and a very weak bettor in the sb postflop. I'm trying to mix it up between grinding and picking my spots to pick up some chips if I smell weakness. Good/bad/stupid perhaps?

    I would just normally call on the flop. You have 4 people left to act after you and I would like to try and gauge how strongly they hit the flop before I decide to push my draw. Semi-bluffing a straight draw out of position really isn't a great spot. Also I wouldn't be counting on playing off my image too much at these stakes. The players there aren't very observant.

    The problem with that line is I'm going to end up check/calling every street and probably won't get the money in there on the river when I hit (villain dependant of course).

    I used to do nothing but grind it out at these stakes previously, the other problem with your line is, people are much less inclined to pay me off on big hands later, hence, from time to time, I'm getting a little wild postflop, especially with the shortstacks.

    I disagree with regards table image at those stakes, here's a quicky to illustrate, this chap here puts me on AK does he not?
