Dagger dilemna

    Hey guys ,i havent been keeping up with with anything burning crusade so forgive me if its a silly question.

    Im back playing my first 60 char ,undead rogue after getting 2 more to 60.
    Ive done little end game stuff as ive been levelling other chars but got into BG for the first time over the weekend.
    Basically im low on gold with this rogue 150g but would like to get some good gear.
    Im almost exhalted in AV which will give me access to the Labotomiser epic dagger but costs 130g i think.
    Id like to buy it but a friend reckons id be better off saving gold as there may be better gear for same price with burning crusade.
    Baring in mind i dont get much time to play therefore long instance runs are rare,an hour here and there in BG is best i can manage.
    Is my friend correct or should i buy the dagger?

    Maybe i should find a good gold farming spot?any ideas?
