Dental work costs, Ireland and abroad

Hi everyone

Im in the process of seeking prices on having dental surgery, involving: wisdom teeth removal, 1 tooth impand and a crown.

- Does anyone know of any good dental practice in the republic
- what are the prices like in ireland for such work

I'm also looking at Hungary through the agencies below:

has anyone done business with these guys?
Is Hungary worth considering?

I have heard decent enough reports but, the Irish dentists seem to be of the opinion that any dentist outside of Ireland is a butcher.

Have you looked into taking out a policy with VHI DeCare? They cover dental procedures up to a certain value and from what I've heard alot of people are happy with it.

have you tried the north. a good place in newry is camlough dental practice my son had a crown and root canal for half the price down here. most dentists dont seem to do crowns and root canalin the south. they usually refer you to soneone else. why this is i can only speculate.

a colleague of mine had crowns done in budapest, was thrilled with the result & whole package.
