how long is PB planned to go on for ?

Sorry maybe its been posted before, but how long is this planned for
?
I know if its popular they will want 4 or 5 seasons but reallistically they can´t
drag it out that much ? its not as diverse as LOST ??

Ok that would be good if they ended it with 2 seasons.
2 good seasons rather then 4/5 , with the last few getting ridiculous
and then ruining the WHOLE show...

How long did "The Fugitive" the TV show go on for? They could keep it going as long as they keep it interesting. Although nearly all shows have a tendency to break away from their original intent and get lost in their own mythology.

I read somewhere (too lazy to look for it, linked from Wiki somwehere) that there are gonna be 6 series!!!
They are gonna be arranged into a trilogy of 2-series stories somehow. Think Scheuring himself may have said this.

i will reserve judgement until i see what any new series is like
bit harsh to write off something that doesnt exist yet

i remember people saying season 2 would be rubbish. saying things like it cant go anywhere good etc. etc. how wrong were they?

yea prison break did get better in the second series(not saying 1 wasn't good it was great) but if they brought this into 3 and 4 seasons I would be annoyed!

Two is perfect!

3 or 4 seasons is the reason I dont watch lost.. :rolleyes:

I read in a tattoo magazine where they were talking about michaels tattoo that it was always envisaged to be 44 episodes, but that they know they'll probably be forced into making 3

I read somewhere that it was supposed to be originally about 11 episodes and was extended to a full season due to popularity. This makes sense. Se01E09 - 11 certainly had an 'end of story' feel to them and a reboot thereafer.

Just like Lost. I don't know why huge fans of these shows start moaning "oh it will get stupid after [such and such a series]"

who gives a crap? If after season 15 of Lost gets crap I won't watch it - at least I'll have got 10 seasons of great television! same goes for prison break. i hope they both run as long as they can go.

As long as the makers/actors etc. are getting money they wont stop it tbh unless something better comes along.

now when the hell will series2 be shown on rte....?

ya but like lost, all us fans thurst for is the ending, the meaning, the relief of knowing what it was all about!
