I have been a fan since the day I stuck the Disc into my pc one Christmas, looked at the beginning of the level of HALO 1 and said to myself "what kind of crap game is this?"....to find out 20 seconds later I was hooked and addicted.

The most tactical, yet 100% pure fun multiplayer game ever. 2 on 2 in HALO is something no gamer should miss... 8+ players is pure mahem. Campaign has always been excellent.

Looking forward to the next version, absolutely cannot wait....has anyone any stories/updates/facts on the alterations and additions of the game?

There is a Halo 2. Savage game as well

Halo 2 is out next year only on Windows Vista and Halo 3 is out on the Xbox360 sometime next year aswell.

yeah Im aware of that, fantastic game...the ad on multiplayer maps were excellent too.

I'm hoping to get a forum going for HALO

Id imagine so. Is there no rough date as to when HALO 3 come out?

Latest interview with Microsoft said its not far off. Q1 2007 I'd guess, around the time of PS3 European launch.

nah, it'll either be may/june ish next year or christmas next year. may because it'll boost the movie, and in turn the movie would boost the game, or christmas to sell more 360's against the ps3 (because that's when ps3 will actually exist for everyone)... throwing it out in q1 against a weak ps3 and wii really doesn't make sense. hit with your #1 IP when you need it

P Jackson showed up at some MS launch, rattling on about how excited he was about the HALO movie, and how he is going to go down the whole creating games route.

yeah sorry! both versions were great. I found the campaign for the second one a little bit easier however

After reading your thread I'm playing Halo 2 again and am flying through it again. I should have it finished by the weekend even though I#m not playing it a lot.

Hope the 3rd one is a lot longer.

I think they've said they are only making 3. Do you reckon they'll make some more?

You thought wrong, 3 is the final part in this story "arc"

Whatever you make of that, seems like bungie are keeping their options open.
