Ok, I havent used any WD-40 on my bolt action airsoft gun yet, but was just wondering 'if' it can be used. Maybe a dumb question, but then the dumb ones are the ones that are never asked :D

So is WD-40 safe to use, to wipe down the bolt and keep the barrell oiled etc.

    Cheers

as far as i know, no. it destroys the plastic on the gun.
just stick with silicone based lubricants. not expensive. i bought mine online. im sure they are available to buy somewhere in Ireland though.

As above, Do not use wd40,
the silicon oil/spray should be available from hobby/model shops but it is very easy to get it online, probably about a tenner
