So after an abortive attempt at a computer science degree, I have just enrolled in an arts degree for the coming year. Now one of the main options I have available to me is teaching via a hDip , but in the eventuality of me finally becoming a teacher, how are the subjects that I will teach determined? For example can I become an English teacher without three years of Arts-English under my belt? can I supplement my teaching portfolio with a masters? or is it all handled during the Hdip?
