Hi, I currently work for Trinity Mirror in the UK. We are going through a refurb at the moment and some of our old printing equipment is off to the Midland Tribune in Birr.

At some point in the very near future I'll be locating to Ireland, not a million miles from Birr, and was wondering if anybody worked at that plant or knew anything about it. I have fairly specialised training unique to the equipment being shipped out, and to get a job which I have specific training for would be a boon to me for ease of relocation.

If someone is familiar with the plant or knows of other printing plants can they drop me a line before I contact the plant direct.

To keep with the forum rules, I am fully qualified to manage FERAG inserting lines, FERAG finishing equipment (stitch and trim) an familiar with various post press equipment from FERAG. I have a non related degree in Business Studies and an out of date forklift license ;)

I shall be located in Clonmel, Tipp and will be interested in anything relating to printing within a reasonable commute.
