    hey guys im lookin to find some thing that will record what is on my screen

    i use SnagIt for this kind of stuff ... http://www.techsmith.com/

    there is a trial version, think it's 30 days.... single user license is about 40 lids

    used to have lotus screencam, but this one is way better ...

    What do you mean by record? Do mean take a snapshot picture or do you mean record moving pictures like video? If you mean the former it's really easy.

    All you have have to do is hit the Print Screen Button that should be located on the top right of your keyboard and then open your photo editing software program and paste it there. You can also paste it into a word document if you like.

    If you mean record video it would depend on what video player you are using.

    fair question ... i took it to mean the OP wants to record video, not static images ... (snagit does both)

    OP if you just need to capture the screen, BaZmO* is right ... Printscreen is simplest option

    Wink can record the output from the desktop in either static screenshots or moving for presentation/tutorials etc. plus it's freeware.
