Sounds like you need to take the car to an autoelectrician. Unfortunately I don't know of any in your neck of the woods. Could you try the goldenpages?

The only auto-electricians that I know of are in Dublin. Try them if you want - they are excellent, imo. Hamiltons Auto Electrics, they're off the South Circular Road - 01 475 5157.

I'll second the recommendation for Hamiltons.

if your car has a digital controls for the heater/ventilation it could just be that it got reset when the fuse blew, in which case you need to do a "reinitialise" of the controls. That's the way it is for Vauxhall Omegas, just thinking it might be the same for you (Haynes manual had the procedure listed - something about holding some of the buttons in for 5 secs, and the electronics and the mechanical bits all got synchronised)

I'm not to sure the name of the guy, But my dad Has gone to him a few times in Naas to get some electrical work done to his E240. I'm no Naas expert my self but I know where it is to see. I'll see can I get a map up for you show you where. Its right outside the town about 100M down one of the roads on the sallins side.
