concrete handball courts in dublin

    Lads i was wondering if anyboby know of any old style outdoor handball alleys in Dublin city centre and the surronding suburbs . The bigger and older the better to be honest . one of my friends has this new hurling/handball hybrid games and we need a location .

    there's one in the north inner city somewhere, that is closed though. Not sure of location

    I don't know of any others. Don't know if any GAA clubs have got outdoor hurling alleys?

    There's a handball court with a back wall at Green St. Fills up with leaves this time of year.
    Near the special criminal court.

    Open-ended handball courts in the hospital grounds of Grangegorman, Dublin 7. (One-time home venue for a hybrid soccer/handball game called "wall-ie".)

    ye big girls using sticks to hit a ball,whats worng with your hands ??:D

    how does the game rate with you?is it good?do you play with a sliotar?(i have read the rules it just dosent state that, i presume as its origins are to promote hurling it is played with sliotar?)

    better to play it with a tennis ball as you need a decent bounce in the ball

    it is a very good game to speed up your swing and speed of touch
