does anyone know of any sites on the web where you might be able to find someone. i am trying to trace an old friend who lives in dublin and that is about as much as i know apart from a name of course. thanks.

You could always check on Friends Reunited, but that will only help if they have also posted there.

You could post the name and a detail here. Somebody who knows the person might see it.
give their name, and maybe thier job or last job.
age etc.

Hate seeing a missed call and not knowing who the hell it was....but dont wanna ring in case its someone I dont wanna talk to, heh

My trick when this happens is to call their voicemail, if the have a recorded message chances are they'll give their name! Then just don't leave a message, they'll never know a thinkg

Indeed! but that only works on mobiles and only 20% of them seem to have voicemail
