can you give me some advice on buying a console?

Ye guys seem to know what ye are talking about. I want to buy a gaming console. It doesnt have to be brand new. How much would you pay for a new PS2/Gamebox etc..... And how much would something like that cost 2nd hand? Anyone know of any offers out there in the shops?

i hav a ps2 latest edition slimline in box with 1 sony controller 1 memory card worth 30 euro. i hav a demo game. d console is practically new! i live in dublin. 100 euro. if ur interested just text me on <snip>. thanks

Best place to get a second hand console is adverts.ie or ebay, usually a console goes for under 100 quid with 4 or 5 games.
