    Just finished Season 1 and it was excellent but have been told Season 2 is not that great. So which is the best Season to buy besides the first one?

    Perhaps a poll could be set up?

    Day One is still by far the best season, Day 5 has only brought 24 back to its orginality.

    Day One is a ground breaking show and its opening episode brings you straight into the action.

    It gives you a full idea of where the Characters are and how they relate to one another. From teenage angst (Kim and the Prisdent's Kids) to Political Back Stabbing (Sherry and Nina).

    It's use of split screens is used far more effectively.

    If you haven't already seen Day One go out and buy the series on DVD or start watching it on Channel 6. You won't be dissappointed.

    Does'nt look like many people actually watch 24 by the looks of things!

    I ended up buying Season 2...

    Well RTE had on average 150,000 viewers + when it was on Tuesday nights. Sky One get up to 20,000 viewers for the show. But lets face it RTE are now showing it at 11:50pm, most of us are inbetween seasons (I still look forward to Mondays on RTE TWO :) ) and this poll was taken before.

    Day Five really brought the series back. Good characters and good plots no need for stupid storylines which no one cares about and have little to do with CTU.

    IE

    Day 2: Megan and Kim
    Day 3: The Baby and Chloe
    Day 4: Erin Driscoll and her daughter

    They have moved away from such issues.

    I just completed season 5 tonight and for first time ever and up to date with 24.

    Season 1 is still best I think just for it's originality at the time, also the final episode I still maintain is 1 of the finest hours of television I have ever seen.

    I liked season 2 up until bomb went off, bit about imminant war for last 8 hours didn't really interest me. Season 3 + 4 were bit bleh. Season 5 has been fantastic, so many shocks especially opening episode and episode 12 and 13, just amazing.
