    Hi guys
Without having to buy on line, does anyone out there know where to get F plugs.....Now before you all jump on me...I'm looking for F plugs of different diameter.I.e. I think thr normal is 7mm or 7.5 mm, and I'm looking for smaller ones. I think they go down to 4mm size...but I stand to be corrected.
Another thing that they don't appear to sell in shops is self-amalgamating tape

The small hole is for Radio/VHF RG59 cable. Both RG6 and CT100 etc need the larger center hole.
B&Q, Maplin, Electrical /HW shops etc have F-Connectors and amalgamating tape. Sometimes I get it cheaper in Co-op Hardware as a Pipe Repair kit with reel of sticky cloth tape included too. Expect to pay up to 3 Euro per 60c connector.

Unless you have experience and correct crimp tool, avoid crimp type. Use the screw on kind with briad spread back over outer and inner insulation flush on inside.

    Thanks for that Watty
Big electrical(trade) shops + builder providor / HW shops were unable to supply..I don't think they even heard of the tape. B & Q is about 10+ miles away, so I'll make a list for a visit(if and whenever I get time, lol). Have found Woodies ok for Normal F plug price..pack of 2 @ €1.50...?
Reason I want small F plugs is to get away from co-axial plugs everwhere..I hate them since using the Fs, so for me F plugs and adaptor is the preferred method. I only use screw on T type. Maybe 40 yrs ago the original cable feed is small diameter and am plagued with dodgy connection
So that's why...just in case you curious
    Tnx again

Not My choice. NTL (originally Cablelink ltd) installed this narrow cable over the rooftops about 40 yrs ago. Never been changed. These days they use better quality cable. I want to reconnect their cable end inside the house without using their original or new boxes, That's just to clarify what I'm up to (boring ,I know). I guess I'll have to sourse them over the net.

I found the tape hard to find too - finally got it in Maplins in town. Was a bit pricey - but well worth it. Great stuff for helping to weatherproof any outdoor electrical connections...
