    Hi,

35/40 is the pass level I think, you certainly don't need to get all of them right.

Yes, get 35 and above and you've passed.

Is there a list of all possible questions asked? I was asked a question that was not in the rules of the road book (dunno if it is now). I was asked how old a child must be before they can sit in the front seat, I said 12.

I think there is an official booklet which covers all the questions in the test.
"The official Theory test book" or something like that....

afaik its 35 out of 40, it is multiple choice, think you select one from three answers. In the book itself there are roughly 700 - 800 questions i think. I spent a few hours going over all questions and got 40 right. with common sense you would get most of them right, but there are a few you wouldnt know, ie weight of trailor before it has to have it own break, depth of tyre thread etc. if you are asked a question and you have 3 bad scenarios its always the worst thats the right answer! I.E your back brake lights are defective, what consequences could this have?

    a) make car less visible
    b) anger other motorisits
    c) certain crash with fatalities

If you're doing the theory test i'd highly, highly advise you buy the DVD.

The questions you're asked on it are the exact same questions you get asked in the test and in the same format.

I completed the DVD a number of times and got all the questions correct. (The questions aren't all that difficult but some are tricky buggers)

Yeah, the DVD is the way to go. You really only have to practice with it for a few hours to get thru it. The questions are mostly oommonsense, apart from the speed ones.

Be careful you have the up dated book / cd.

New test supposed to commence 21st. October. Questions now chosen from a bank of 1250 (has been 700 up to now).

You still need to get 35 or more out of 40 correct

    New book and cd available
