from sligo to cork

Hi Guys, need some help! I travel from Sligo to Cork fairly reguraly and have recently seen the delays in Limerick!! ahhhh driving me mad!!! is there anyway of coming in Limerick to Cork and bypassing the city altogther without getting stuck on the Dock bridge?? Any help would be great, thanks!!!

an alternative you could try is

Sligo-boyle-roscommon-athlone-birr-roscrea-thurles and then the road down to cork

i travel once a month up to derry from limerick and always go via athlone

i use to go by galway but the road between galway and sligo is always busy..

going down the middle of the country might be a bit longer but the roads wont be as busy
