Get all the wires that came with your laptop and throw them away Wireless its that simple :D:D

or go to the techies in the college

ye the techies need to get ur MAC address as far as i know, then they need to configure the thing to work on the network.

so, in summary, go to the techies.

theres normally a stand outside the techies office with instructions that you have to fill out and give back to them

Theres no need for a form anymore. AFAIK you log in on a desktop machine and change your password, then log out and you will then be able to login on you laptop. The wireless connection will automatically appear on your machine.

This connection will however be crap causing you much annoyance and fustration until you accept fate and go on one of the college computers which work about 52 billion times faster or go down to superquinn for its fantabulous wi-fi facilities

Just head down and you should be detected, you can even sit in the cafe and converse over the major issues that we face in the world today over a cup of fine coffee, or try some sneeky porn downloading

Sneaky porn in a public place.....kinky.....

would you have to buy anything at the cafe to use the Wi-fi?

no coffee needed just porn, just so you know in superquinn, do you think those cheap spanards pay!!?!?!thats why they sit at the door, 1. there is a plug there and 2. they dont have to be moved on.

p.s. i was the first to use a laptop by that door!!! i started a fad woopi for me!!

I always get crap coverage near the door. also be careful if you are going to sit in the cafe without buying anything. I saw a sign saying that they charge €1 per minute for the privalage, I'm sure that that has never happened but you never know.
Are there any other Wifi areas in carlow.
