Problems with Betfair software

Has anyone here had problems with the Betfair poker software?

I had it running perfectly for a few months, then it just started crashing on me. It loads fine, lets me login, hell it even lets me register for a tournament, and then it just freezes (mouse pointer goes to the sand timer symbol) and stays that way forever, meaning I lose my money.

This happened a few months ago and I mailed them about it and they refused to acknowledge a problem and wouldn't give me my money back. Haven't played for months, forgot about it, but then when I went back to it there on Friday I got the same crap again. Annoys me cos it's robbing my cash and it was also my favourite UI to play on.

I've tried re-installing after clearing any registry entries on it I could find, but no joy.

I'vr had several problems recently, as has a mate of mine. Betfair don't think it's them so we had put it down to a local internet problem, even though all other sites are ok. Pretty annoying when you get the reconnecting message in the middle of a hand. I played over the weekend because of their STT promotion but it was as bad as ever. Will be staying away for the forseeable.

Grand, yeh, had the same problem, and that's why I posted here, cos Betfair support just don't want to know.

Will have to stay away I guess, but I really liked their clear UI and found I had most of my success on their site (can never win on PaddyPower, and I'm convinced their cluttered UI distracting me isn't helping).

Ive had similar problems, but I put it down to the wireless broadband (Eircom/netopia setup).

I've found that exiting betfair and restarting it and logging in again is quicker than waiting for it to reconnect by itself. (this may just be paranoia however :o )

Played the boards game on stars last night and didnt notice any problems with them.

what you could try is to play on betfair and another site simultaneously, either both go down at the same time and the problem is on your end, or betfair goes down, the other site stays up, you take a screen shot and have a good rant at betfair support.

I have played on it over the weekend and have had no problems at all ... except for the unbelievably poor standard of the players (hitting miracles while all in) in the STT's!!
