hi,, can anyone tell me if the pump for the petrol on a 96 opel astra is on the inside of the tank or the outside.. the petrol doesnt seem to be getting through

AFAIK it's in the tank - its a while since I've seen one. You can access it from under the rear seat. Its not too difficult to get at.
