    Hi,
I recently bought a Western Digital 350Gb My Book in PC World, Blanch. Unfortunately they only had one and PCW in Liffey Valley has none.

Does anyone know where in Dublin I could buy the 350Gb WD MY Book?

Do you mean the 250gb or 320gb? (there is no 350)

You could try Airside PC World...they had a few when I bought mine a couple of weeks ago.

Peats show the 250gb version on the website so may be worth a phone call.

If you don't mind waiting a few days Komplett have loads of them :)

Yeah the 320Gb. Not too sure about Komplett I'd be a bit worried about a hdd being thrown around a van by courier. Might try Peats. Cheers Hopeful.

How do you think they get to peats?

    People are soooo funny

(actually they get there on velvet cushions carried by elegently dressed young ladies...honest!)

Fair point though. I got this delivered by a courier a few months back

Luckily nothing breakable inside. I reckon the 'fragile' labels are a challenge rather than deterrent:D

You could try IT Direct: click on Parliament Street, 250Gb western digital = E129.

I got two from Komplett last week for me and a friend, split the delivery and it worked out at E116 each.

    Hope this helps, David.

I have one for the last few weeks but I have'nt heard of anything like that.

I went for them because I heard mainly good stuff about them. I had three Hitachi Deckstars go belly up on me hence the need to buy new drives. Nearly lost all my photos and the family archive! I'll have to burn backups to dvd as a safety measure.

I bought two of them and for the past few months had no problems with them so far, cheap and decent.

I ordered a 320Gb for €180 from IT Direct (www.itdirect.ie) can't wait to get my hands on it. I really love the way it starts and shutdown with the pc as I usually forget to turn them off :)
