recovery from memory card (needed quick)

    hi there,,,

    some important photos have been deleted from a memory card in a digital camera,,, is there any free software that will allow me to retreve them?

    There's a shop on abbey street that does it for 10/20 yoyos if you can't find any software.

    Try ZeroAssumptionRecovery as i mentioned in the other thread.(go there for the link) that has a free image recovery section and it worked really well for me before, got back like 300 accidently deleted images. By the way if you want to be sure to get them back whatever you do, do not use the card again to take more photos! If you do there is a good chance you will write over the deleted 1's,

    didnt know this was possible til now! lost bout 400 photos on my hols in crete this summer. happened on the last day in all!! neways have taken pics since on it bout a 100 but havent deleted anything from the card. its an XD memory card. what are my chances? would love to get them back if at all possible

    Depending on how big a card, they may still be recoverable.

    I have recovered successfully from xD and SmartMedia cards.

    downloaded that zar80setup.exe file form the site last nite and when i tried to run it it said it wasnt a valid application??

    Try one of the other mirrors. i presume you clicked authors website... Here
    is the link to download zeroassumptionrecovery again. I just downloaded it from majorgeeks eu and it downloaded and installed fine...
