I was checking out the new film releases this week and "Isolation" caught my eye.

Is it worth going to or is it one for the blizzard of odd?

a strange, unscary, pretty daft film. takes itself so seriously, which is ok, fair enough, but emm... mutant cows?

It looks absolutely rubbish from the trailer. And usually, the job of a trailer is to make a film look appealing...

All I've seen or heard about it is the posters in the UGC that I saw tonight.
    What's this about mutant cows...?

Saw this a few months back.. and actually enjoyed it! It's set on a remote farm in Kildare. Totally daft but a good laugh. Some of the scenes are very well done. Don't be expecting a great movie or take it too seriuosly though!

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446719/

    Genre: Horror

Tagline: A horror film set on a lonely farm in rural Ireland

Plot Outline: On a remote Irish farm, five people become unwilling participants in an experiment that goes nightmarishly wrong

Invader Zim kept going through my head when watching this, "stop playing with the filthy cow monsters gir" and "dooookie"...

Well what can I say, its set on a farm in Rural Ireland and it has cow monsters...

heh, well I didn't hate it... but mostly cause I was thinking about invader zim and chuckling to myself though :)

Is this a cinema or a DVD release lads ? Sounds amusing.

Cinema release. I think it might even be gone out of the big screens at this stage, has been out awhile.

Azezil - Why did you start a second thread on this movie when there's one, with the exact same title, already existing? BAH! Threads merged!

    SO when was it released?
I only saw the poster three days ago and nothign before that.

Well the posters been up in Cinema in Galway for literally months - incidently, very promising poster - and it came out 2 weeks ago. It really doesn't seem the type to hang around the screens long either.

watched this on Film 4 on saturday night. Had heard about it before and as I
was brought up on a farm in Wicklow I thought it might be good. Some interesting ideas but on the whole ... average.

Have it on DVD and it's plain rubbish.
Isolation, Dead Bodies, Boy Eats Girl, Shrooms ... we're certainly making a name for ourselves in the horror movie genre
