The Cork Thai show last Saturday night was a cracker with some really excellant fights. Didn't get to see all of the fights but of the ones I did, they were very good. Judged Andy O'Callaghans (from Mike Doc's camp in Loughlinstown) fight v Michael Kelleher and thought he fought really well for a guy on only his second fight nice Thai style. Thady Condon looked very strong against Niall Molloy, while Conor O'Regan from Cork totally demolished Dave Thorncroft from Pele Nathans gym in England. Martin Conroy from my own camp lost on points to Dennis O'Brien from Cork in an Irish title fight which Martin took on 5 days notice. However, all credit to Dennis who fought a very good fight in one of the toughest fights of the night. Graham Molloy from Pat McEvoys gym in Galway demolished Anthony Tobin from Cork, while the "Thai Warrior" Robert Ng easily beat Hardeh Banger from Damien Traynors gym in England in a 5 round full rules fight.

Also would like to mention a word of congratulations to Shane Cadogen from Anthonys gym who won by KO in round 1 of a fight on the Khao San Road in Bangkok. Lumpini is beckoning for Shane for definate.
