Hi, I hope someone can assist with this prob, O.k. let me explain, I have an Athlon 2400 cpu, 256 ddr, Jetway v6dp motherboard, i connected all up, on the post screen the cpu is listed as 1800, then this is where the trouble starts, i can load win 98 but it freezes, I`ve tried to reinstall but this throws up errors, also…

I am about to throw this computer out the window, anyone any ideas?

Have you got an old stick of RAM you could give a try?
