play.com won't deliver outside the UK now

This may be the wrong forum but its the nearest I can think of. I was trying to order some books from play.com this morning and all of them are now showing up a warning that they can only deliver this item to a UK address.

I thought it might be the books I was ordering so I tried some other books (bestsellers list) and they all came up as only being deliverable to the uk.

Has anyone else run into this recently? I found play to be the cheaper of the two between amazon and play for books. Often cheaper and also no delivery fee.

Its quite dissapointing if they have changed their policy. Any other suggestions for book sites cheaper than amazon, with an extensive catalogue and free delivery here?

I just tested adding a pc game and a music cd onto the order now and it also won't deliver outside of the UK.

If its the case play are now UK only.

    Thanks.

    Now it works.

They have a link on the account page that says european customers outside the uk will be charged in euros but they didn't say you had to change it to Euros anywhere to be able to order

Hmm, it means a slight price increase for eveything now though as the euro price is always more expensive.

If they bring their euro pricing into line it should actually work out cheaper, as you wont have that €1.50 charge on the cc bill anymore for buying in sterling.
