The funny thing was ike had the Tier 2 set on his mage whiel the rest of them where in greens ffs :P.

The main thing they got wrong was Blizzard support actualyl doing anything about anything, its really a black hole of despair

They were defo helped by blizzard, they wouldn't have been able to do the character voicovers otherwise.

They could just as easily have used wow model viewer. I'd say they were helped by Blizzard though.

I think they got permission and technical assistance from Blizzard, yea. I read that somewhere.

Huge publicity anyway (for WoW), so why wouldn't they help out (even if they do take the piss)?

Well it was advertised on the wow website, so thats a good indication that they helped out.

AFAIK Blizzard made the ingame video stuff.

I think a lot of it is accurate as Blizz provided assistance aswell on dialogue, and I also read that a lot of people that work on South Park play WoW. No idea whether Matt and Trey do though.

Some of the stuff they said on Vent in the episode was carbon copy of things I've heard people saying in raids. It was eerie. The way they said it too. The monotomous "Can I get an arcane intellect buff plz? thanks". Scary.

Yeah, they had the tone of voice down to a tee, fecking hilarious stuff.

Cartman was such a ****ing legend in it, he was the exact example of a "leetor"


Also, it'd be WAAAY funnier to someone who had never played WoW. Fury build, hitting defensive stance would all sound totally nerdy and funny to an "outsider"

It was because of people who sounded like that, that I gave up.
The people who get really angry with games I can understand (if you didn't get frustrated by it a little it wouldnt be as fun) , but it's that kinda serious sounding L33T player, with their condescending tones...

It's a game.
