Hi, does anyone know of any decent freeware tools to recover "lost" files from an SD card. I've tried the Windows equivalent of scandisk and several freeware packages but to no avail. The best commercial package I've found is Data Doctor Recovery, but if there's a free equivalent all the better :D Thanks in advance...

The demo edition (like most commerical apps) does not allow you to save the recovered files :( Thanks anyway

    Hi,
Something like this happened me before..
    try zero assumption recovery

This is shareware but the image recovery section is free. You only have to register to recover a harddrive. Worked for me and recovered like 300 images.

    Good luck,
    ab

You could try Uneraser, not sure if it would work with the SD card though its worth a try.
