MTT Satellite hand

I bought myself into the Stars Dublin EPT $475 satellite last night, and would like comments on this hand, which i thought was interesting.

We are 4 and a half hours in. 146 runners, 7 tickets up for grabs. As it happened the no. of buy-ins was just short of another ticket so positions 8-24 got their $475 back.

After a real age, the bubble has just burst.

It was a 2,500 starting stack/30 min blind level game so great strucue, loads of play. It is 200/400/25 and I am in the BB, short stacked on 5900 chips.

3 limpers and the SB completes. All of the players involved have vpip's of less than 20...for the last 50 hands....well it was the bubble....

Of the four in the pot, there are two big stacks (25K plus) and two medium stacks (15-20K).

There's 2.2K in the middle, so It gets to me and I push for 5.5K more. My cards are irrelevant here, I feel.
Is this a good satellite move....?
    Standard?
    Comments?

Nobody's shown any strength, plenty of dead money, you can increase your stack by 50% if everyone folds, can't really fault your move.

Although you would probably prefer to only have med stacks involved as they're more likely to fold. If I was sitting on 33k I'd be inclinded to call with any reasonable hand, since I wouldn't be cripped if I lost, and there's 2k in the middle.

I have to say, this is 1 of my favourite moves to make, all-in from bb when short stack after few limpers, I find it works like a charm. More often then not it gets through. As Phantom said I prefer when limpers are not that large stackwise themselves as more likely to call if it doesn't really affect there overall stack but still think it's a very profitable move.
I am guessing seeing as you posted it that you got called and lost but hey can't win them all.
