A friend of mine is a teacher and she's taking on some extra work in the night school. Was talking to her tonight and their looking for someone to teach the basics of photoshop (geared towards digital photography) as a class.

Would be one night a week in the fairview/marino area. From what i gathered, will be basic stuff like red-eye reduction, etc. If anyones interested let me know and I'll pass on the details :)

PS Mods, feel free to move this elsewhere if it aint photo related enough :)

There are some excellent tutorials already posted by boards members in the Photography sub forum called Digital Darkroom. Best of luck.

I know, but my knowledge of PS in general is too little to be standing in front of a classroom :p I'd look a fool if any of em asked about layers or anything

Get watching photoshop TV, everything you need to know about photoshop is there!
I find when teaching software (engineering CAD not photoshop) its a really good way to learn it. During my undergrad I learned an older crappier CAD package but decided in my postgrad to learn ProEngineer by teaching it. It forced me to work hard to learn everything I needed for the next lab. Fortunately Photoshop is a joy to learn compared to the terrible ProE (which is designed to complicate things on purpose to increase training sales).

one of the lads in the shop here was meant to be teaching that course but it's being run too early so he'd never get out of town and over to the college in time,if it was half an hour later starting he could still do it!

Ooh, tempting, tempting. I'd probably apply if I had a car, getting there would be a bit of a nightmare.
