Girls in sports shirts

Was over at the local bank today and it appears they're having a 'jersey' day. Everyone's in sports shirts. Even the girls.

Reinforces a thing I have about women in sports shirts and jeans. Anyone with me on this?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

you mean those fine big hefty country gurls that travel up with 'the brothers' to watch the sports at croke park and drink pints, and find a man?

Girlfriend took my Celtic Jersey today (but not shorts!) to work as they're having a jersey day too.. though she doesn't work in a bank.

Think she told me it's in aid of GOAL.

    .. yep, twas indeed!

    It's wrong. Plain and simple.

As I've said before, I've only a problem with them being worn casually. If its a match day, or they've training or something then grand, but being worn as just a normal item of clothing is quite unappealing. Even more so if its a celtic jersey.

In this case its for a good cause so again, no problem there as far as I'm concerned.
They're not attractive or flattering to a woman, but there are occasions where it doesn't bother me if they're wearing one.

A nurse outfit day at work would be savage though!

Oh, he's a teenager... I get it now... Kinda atrractive, but can't say I've ever wanted to "eat their as*sholes or bunch them" (whatever bunching is - although I really don't think I want to know).

So the AIB on Capel street so? A couple of them didnt bother wearing them (uniforms not naked), obviously not sports fans.

Sometimes i wear my newcastle one but not really as proper clothes, mostly just around the house and watching matches of course!

Though generally they look silly on most girls.

Ah, now - don't start the naked in public thing again!!

Seems to have been a bit more sidesprad though. Someone said it was for Goal and it's all over the place. Wish I'd knon...

Damn right! I'm not ashamed! Girls do just look a bit weird wearing a jersey. I was wearing my newcastle hat though! I've still never seen another girl wearing one... (Except when i was in Newcastle... :p )

Nah.. he actually said "bunch them" first.. and then changed it.

Notice the "edited at.." on the message! ;)

    Ah, I see.

Well since my sex-ipedia doesn't show anything up for 'bunching' i'll presume it was a typing error. Unless of course 'bunching' is something i've been missing out on all these years.

Actually now that you mention it I have another question on this matter that I'd like answer to if there are any jersey wearing ladies on the board. Question is why are ladies more likely than guys to own/wear an 'away' jersey of a given club/county/country?

I first noticed this phenomenon in a pub during wc2002 when I realised that of all the people wearing Ireland jerseys (possibly 20 male 5 female) all the males wore green and all the females white. Since then I've seen this trend repeated to varying degrees.

Interesting photo on the GOAL site that seems to back up the observation

I think it's because lighter colours make you look slimmer.

girls with jerseys.. can go either way tbh.. Always seem to spot a few 'big boned' farmerettes that make XXL jerseys look like they're wearing skintight pvc. It's sick, wrong and should be outlawed. T'other end of the spectrum is quite agreeable however.

Are we talking about the skimpy nurse uniforms, or the boring uniforms down to their knees which looks like it's just one big dress thingy.
