JLC Rates

Hi Does anyone know what the jlc rates are. Im currently working with young child and want to start working evenings or weekends instead to save on childcare. Ill have to take a dip in wages but some of the part time jobs ive seen say jlc rates. I dont know what these rates are at the moment, can anyone let me know?

JLC = Joint Labour Committee

Usually stuff like hairdressing, security etc. Its agreed with union and employers. Rates depend on what job you do.

Does this give the employer a wage limit in the week?

For example. If 10 people are working this week, and the 11th person wants a couple of days work, is he allowed?
