betfair are giving away a seat to their Asian Poker tour worth 8k if you win five in a row:
    WINNING STREAKS
Win 5 Stts (6 or 10 handed) in a row at any stake during the weekend and you win a full package worth $8,000! Unlimited packages available to be won!
Just win five STTs in a row between 1800 (UK Time) on Friday 29th September 2006 and 0600 (UK Time) on Monday 2nd October and we'll be seeing you in Singapore!

The most i've won in a row is 3......has anyone ever done 5 in a row?

    its worth a shot anyway

An old legend of boards.ie called Amaru, who sadly no longer posts, (after being run out by the "regulars" ), is the only documented player here to have accomplish this feat as far as I can remember....

Get a pool of boards players to play the same STTs, dump chips to the one person in 5. Then hold a MTT for the package.

Amarue is packing for Singapur after reading this as he can do this at will.

You regulars are always picking on people and driving them out. I've had enough.

You mean you want us to drive you out? Say something stupid and then repeat it in every thread you get into no matter what the subject. Include the words tournament life, maths and jealousy into every sentance.

Cheers for that Jobless - a while since I played on Betfair but will defo give it a go seeing as theres still about £100 resting in my Betfair account.
Seems they allow you to try this on the £1+20p STT tables also.
Amaru jokes aside people, this is seriously do-able, though obviously a longshot - alcohol may help so prob best attempted on return from pub.

I did three in a row only last week. Would you imagine it to be easier to achieve at six handed or at a full ring table? I think the obvious choice would be six handed, on betfair do the blinds go up after a certain amount of hands are played or is it just every eight minutes or something.
I have 100 dollars in my neteller account so might stick in into betfair and have a crack. Anyone know about rakeback for betfair? If someone does could you pm me please?

    regards
    LT

i think it would be easier at 6 handed tables, on betfair sixpacks the blinds go up every 12 hands i think.....for turbos this is six hands....

i saw this promotion which reading milkybarkids latest blog entry.....on that entry he also had a link for rakeback....have a look

definetly dooable in the sixpacs, been multing six and tens at £20 and£30 on crypto for the last three months and would of hit 5 in a row a few times cant do 13 I'm afraid but dit manage 12 wins from 13 at one stage including 7 sixpacs wins in a row. the thing is the streaks just happen, making them happen is another thing.

The account i was using on crypto up to two weeks ago was enpea, check out the graph on sharkscope say I did 5 and over on at least 3 occasions

Nice work nicnicnic, I think if anyone does get the 5stt's in a row they will have to get lucky along the way, but with enough play I'd say this is quite doable for a lot of peple who experiencing some good variance.

Pantaloons just checked the terms and conditions, you have to be 21 to play.... ah well it was a nice dream while it lasted.

Good luck to anyone who is giving this a go.

I went on two incredible luckboxy streaks, winning 5 in a row once, and 7 out of 8, 6 in a row that time. It's pretty tough to do though, and I was playing ALOT of stts at the time, about 15 a day over a 3 month period. It is possible though, I'm going to be going for it this weekend. The great thing is you can do it at the lower stakes too, and the low stakes stts on betfair are incredibly soft.

i'll be interested to hear how people got on after the weekend.......

anyone want to tell me their betfair username so i know who to avoid :)

I'm 'Daithi' on betfair nicky. I'm sure we'll be able to sort something out if we get HU in that situation!

Yeah, one of the best. Just had a re-read, and realised that it also includes a mention of fornication with goats... will that become a feature of every 'apocalypse' thread on this forum?

I'm playing as shoutman, just playing my first £10 sixpac.
The standard is ridiculous, I've knocked two people out earlier with aj and ak being called by a5 and a7 so I'm cruising in the first one.
Even though I wouldnt be able to play the package im sure there would be no problem in selling it or gifting it to someone, I have sent betfair an email but havent received a reply yet.

Yeah but you have to be playing at a certain level to get the full bonus, think its €20, if you play at lower levels your 2,000 gets reduced by 25%,50%,75% etc

Think they also pay a small bonus for 5 in a row ITM

Down to three handed in my fourth combination game, all in preflop kk vs a5, he hits an ace on the river, if i had won that hand I would of been fairly cruising, even worse was that i won the next game. I'll give it another go next week. If anything it is building my bankroll at a rapid pace, I just need the time to play more!
