    Hey,

Need a bit of advice. The drivers side electric window in my 99 toledo now working. I can hear the motor going but nothing happens, just a slight grinding noise. It's fully down now and i can't get it to fully go up. (hehe).

Do you know what i have to buy before i go get it fixed?

    Cheers

Sounds like the window regulator has gone, its a problem with vag cars and vw have updated the design to a metal type.
Think its around 70stg so maybe about 100euro before fitting.

Like the last poster said - window regulator. Got one for my Octavia recently, €100-odd. Fitted it myself in about an hour, not much hassle to it.
