What are the chances that Aer Lingus will have a sale for june flights to New york in the near future (seeing as it would be most popular time to fly.) A mate is getting hitched over there.

Fairly likely I would say, try American Airlines or Delta. I selected a random date in June and it was far cheaper than Aer Lingus but you have to stop in Paris or London Heathrow.

Fly into Newark airport instead of JFK. Its usually a lot cheaper. Q>

www.expedia.co.uk are good for finding flights. As said already, continental are cheap they had a London to Newark for £170 return a while back, for a flight in Feb. I missed booking it. So on the hunt again for cheap ones. Aerlingus = rip off I've found.

I am actually selling a $200 voucher for Continental, so if you spot a good price on their website you could knock another $200 off the price!

Post back into the advert if you have any queries as I do not wish to hijack or spoil this thread.

    www.etravel.ie is your friend.

I have recently booked a flight to NY (JFK). From Dublin, no transfers, 3 night stay for €330 including everything. Flying with Delta I think.

etravel is run by travel agent and it searches all airlines for flights. It's a little bit unsophisticated, but worth the patience. Call them alternatively - they are very helpful.
