I just got kicked out of this club i have been in a couple of years. For complicated reasons there is a limited number of people allowed to be in this club. The club is situated in Belfast and cause i now live in Dublin i would only be able to attend the couple of weekend events every month so i was asked to leave to allow for members who could attend more.

Now i am at a loss. This was a huge part of my life, all my best friends are in it, it made up a major part of my social life for the past two years, for example, i spent a month and a half with these people the summer before last. I was so looking forward to going away with them sometime this month and i dont know what to do with myself now.

Any ideas of things i could do to fill this void?

Could you work with the Dublin club to start a new branch in Cork?

Is there not a similar club in Dublin? If not, perhaps you could start one?

Nope this is a purely UK thing.
Its not that they didnt like me, as i said alot of my best friends are part of this. i just coudlnt attend enough with living in Dublin.

Anyway i was mostly asking what can i do to fill the void. Theres no way i can be part of this again so i need new stuff.

I guess you need to find something to join in with based on your hobbies or interests.

Have a think about what you're into - sports, gaming etc. There are plenty of clubs around once you know what you want to do. Or start a class in something you've always wanted to do but not tried yet.

I tried Yoga on a whim once, when I was having a bad patch and now I love it - it's big part of my life.

There are social clubs too if it's people you want to meet and hang out with.

I thought about that too, but as far as I know, they don't kick a person out for moving. They simply hook them up with the local bigots via their...system.

how can anybody give you advice on filling a void when we don't know what was in place before the void.... a club??? a swingers club, a night club, a football hogans club, a gay club, a camera club, maybe a book club?

on the limited information you have given here is how you fill the void, join another "club"
