Heuston Thurles timetable change

Hi, I just noticed in the timetable sticky above that Irish Rail's 18.35 train from Heuston to Thurles is not stopping in Hazelhatch or Sallins anymore until December.

I rang the enquiries line and the usual helpless person on the other end hadn't a clue, ran off to ask someone else who also hadn't a clue, asked me where I found out (It's on the IR website too) and then confirmed that this is correct.

It means that there is no service to Sallins between 18.05 and 19.45!!

Surely they can't do this without providing some additional service? :mad:

It still stops at Sallins same time as before, obviously you don't even use the train or you would know, or bother to check the timetable

This is the train I use every night and have done for the last two years :rolleyes:

Well they made the change weeks ago, no one noticed since its only different beyond Ballybrophy and the masses only go as far as the Hatch and Sallins

Total no issue really, mountain molehill etc

If that's the case then great, it just means the details on their site and the info being given out by the timetable enquiry line is wrong.

Should have expected that I suppose
