    If I wanted to distribute movies/tv programs over digital media where/who do I contact about copyright/royalties ?

    Presume there is a central organisation/body/company rather than having to contact each of the distributors individually?

    Try IMRO (Ireland), MCPS (UK) and RIAA (USA).

    Depends on what kind of digital media.
    * Disk
    * Streaming
    * Podcasts
    * Broadcast (Cable, Satellite, Terrestrial)
    * Phones

    You might need a content licence from BCI too.
    If you are re-distributing exsiting TV channels you need to talk to those channels.
