What's the right turn play?

Having read quite a lot of posts in the forum about difficult cash game situations it seems a lot of them are faced on the turn, particularly when the board is ugly. One play I've noticed fuzzbox recommend quite a lot (but correct me if I'm wrong) is to CRAI all in on the turn when OOP with overpairs.

Obviously this isn't always a good idea depending on the villain, especially if he likes to slowplay big hands or if he can be in there preflop with hands you wouldn't expect.

How does a CRAI look in this hand? Villain is 25/12/2.7 after 185 hands which is pretty tight.

Party Poker ($2 no limit). Hand converted by Check Raised hand converter

    HERO ($222.35) [ queend.gifqueenc.gif ] (BB)
    UTG ($200.00) (UTG)
    CO ($260.35) (CO)
    SB ($122.10) (SB)
    BTN ($197.50) (BTN)

    Preflop (5 players):
    1 fold.
    CO raises $4.00.
    BTN calls ($4.00) [2.75:1].
    SB calls ($3.00) [4.67:1].
    HERO raises $16.00.
    1 fold.
    BTN calls ($14.00) [3.14:1].
    1 fold.

Flop (22 bets ($44) in pot, 2 players):
    2d.gif8s.gif4s.gif
    HERO bets $30.00.
    BTN calls ($30.00) [3.47:1].

Turn (52 bets ($104) in pot, 2 players):
    2d.gif8s.gif4s.gif5s.gif
    HERO checks.
    BTN bets $70.00.

I would fold here. A tight player cold-calls a raise and a re-raise, calls a 2/3rd pot bet on the flop and leads the turn when the flush gets there. I expect to see a set or better here.

Either check fold here or bet fold. Check raising is crazy

Ya, I check/fold or bet/fold in this spot.

Spots where I CRAI are when dudes float me a lot, and tend to bet the turn when I check to them .... so sometimes they have me beat, but they wont call the turn if they dont, but they will tend to bet the turn regardless.
CRAI gets extra monies from them when I am ahead, and helps make up for the times when I'm behind.

This aint such a good spot tho.

I made a mistake checking here. I should have lead out. But after I checked and he'd bet it occurred to me that I must have the best hand.

This guy is tight preflop, tighter than me. He's probably not playing any unpaired hand to my big preflop reraise except maybe sometimes AQ, and I just didn't think it was possible for him to have AQ of spades here. Why would he bet out so strong with the nuts on the turn? That left a flopped set, which was possible because he could easily be panic betting but this isn't the kind of player that slowplays sets especially when I've shown so much strength preflop. I fgured he had 66/77/99/TT and called teh flop in thehope of me having AK so I pushed. He folded.

Not a big fan of your line here. I'd normally fire again on the turn. I don't really like check-folding here too much as this could easily become exploitable. Bet fold is far better IMHO.
