Toneport Speakers

Looking for some sort of speakers/monitors for my Toneport UX2. Something I can plug into the outs of the unit and use the models/effects I have in Gearbox out loud (instead of just through headphones as I use at the moment)

Tried plugging it into my amp through the headphones socket (Marshall G30RCD) but sounded awful.

Do I need a pair of active or passive monitors?

Something "affordable" anyway.

Decent spec for the price, I use 80A's and they're fantastic for the price.

Those look great for the price alright but I'd probably be sticking to a lower budget.

These look good, fine for bedroom use which is all they'll get.

There's 2 analogue inputs and also a digital in (Toneport has a digital S/PDIF out).

Would they do the jobby?

Oh no no no, i picked those speakers because they have decent wattage, are biamped. Them behringer yokes are no better than pc speakers. Do yourself a favour and spend the extra €€€

Yep they look semi decent, dont expect transparent sound though, you get what you pay for with active monitors in general
