Hard drive imaging question

    Hi there!
I Currently have a 200GB IDE hard drive.
I currently have the one partition - my C drive which
is currently using 35GB of the total 200GB available.
Now I want to take an image of my hard drive using Norton
Ghost 2003 - of which is new to me.

My question is, is it possible to just take an image of the
portion of my C drive that is populated with data?
I dont want to take an image of the entire 200GB as
most of volume is unused and it will take me hours
    to do so.
If it is not possible, have you and recommendations?
    Many Thanks,
    Shamrock

Yes, you can. Norton (and other disk imaging utilities) don't copy empty space into the image. You also restore the image into a smaller partition(e.g. 50GB) if you want.
