How many runners will this get? How many ran last week?
    Is it a 150 + 1 rebuy/topup?
    What are the blinds/timelevels?
How many tickets will there be? How many was there last week?

despite all the big tourneys in the next few days, i expect a good few runners tonight.

does it start at 8, im not too sure of the start time
(or the exact location, but im sure i will find it)

I'm about to leave now. It's easy enough to find. It's a small alley between Harcourt St and Wexford St. Find Eddie Rockets on Wexford st and you'll see a Spar... It's down there. And yes 8.00 start.

It is half way down montague street

I'm heading in tonight. had a horrible night last night. 3 pretty awful beats including two from the chief and 1 from an unkown to send me packing... hope i'll have better luck tonight!

    Stated start time at 8.

    €150 + 10 entry with 1 rebuy / top up for €150.

5,000 starting stack with 5,000 chips for rebuy or top - up. Blind levels 30 mins for first three, 25 mins after break.

Every blind level except 75 / 150 is included.

    Decent enough structure IMHO.

I'd say they'll get two tonight, looks like there'll be a few in. Last week they got 8k together roughly, so another 10 players on top of last week and they should get two.

Such a complete waste of E300 for me tonight. Began with only 18 runners but had 25 by the end of the first level.

Was never gonna be an easy table but i was in seat2, i had Norwich Fan Rob in seat1, Willy form SE in seat3, Oberon in 4 and Eddie the Eagle in 5. Obvious form the start that i wouldnt be getting too many steals through from the button or cut off. Ocallagh was hid away in seat 8 with 2 players i dont know in seats 6 and 7.

3 hands in, i get JJ on the button and raise to 250 (blinds 25/50). 1 caller from EP.

Flop comes K 2 4 rainbow. He bets 400, i raise to 1000 and he pushes all-in so JJ went in the muck!

Picked up a small pot against NFR with 55 but couldnt extract anymore when i hit a house on the river.

Card dead for 2 orbits then get AQ in SB. I limper for 100 from LP so i raise to 300. BB folds and LP calls.

Flop comes A 2 7. i bet 600, he calls. Turn 7, i lead for 1300, he goes all in for 1950. I have to call and he turns over J7o. Well played Mr fish sir..

Down to 850, get J8 on button a few hands later. A raise to 650 form Mr.Loose in seat 6 gets 3 callers so i ship it for value. On a flop of 6 7 10, Mr.Loose and NFR get it all in and NFR hits a set to comfortably beat K 6.

Rebuy... and a few hands later, i get 99 in the cutoff. 4 limpers for 200 so i make it 1100 to go. Mr Fish pushes all in for 3900. Its 2800 more to win 5900. I put him on A10 or KQ so i call and he flips over QQ. Down to 1k or so. In hindsight i probably should have folded and waited for a better opportunity.

Get 2 steals through just before the break to move to 1650. After break Ocallagh and NFR are AWOL pressumbly in Flannerys. So with both on SB and BB, i check my first card and its a King so i push UTG to try and steal 450. Eddie the Eagle calls with 44, i had K3 and i'm gone with no help from the board.

Probably should have just stayed at home, and i think a certain player that travelled from Mayo might agree with me coz he exited the building quite a bit before me :)

Oh the shame! The shame! Yes my dismal run continues. I played like a complete retarded donk. Gave all my chips to Daitho and drove a round trip of seven hours for one hours worth of poker..(Actually level 2 hadn't quite finished) So Daitho's probably going to win now. And I should really apologise for pretending to be a poker player. No bad beat stories just played complete ****e.

Then I get home to find Mrs Dim playing a $3 rebuy for the Master Clasics on PPP and she bloody wins a ticket to tomorrow nights qualifier.

Infamy! Infamy! They all have it in for me.

Nope, I started tilting a bit for some reason or other, gave away a load of my chips and then got it in with 66 v AK to get back in contention, A on the river. Why is it always the river???

Just in the door, i got 3rd and left mr pillowtalk and eddie the eagle to battle it out heads up.

Frustrating tourny. Started off well on FlushDraws table. Picked up a few pots and did a fair bit of re-raising pre-flop which was missing from my game lately i thought.. It was going better than I had planned and was on 19k when our table got broken. I got moved to table 1 and it all went downhill. Couldn't find a hand... I ended up having to survive by nicking from earliesh position as the button and cutoff was not working at all. 9T that time Adam:) Anyway avoided a major clash until the FT. We re-drew seats and I got lucky enough to have the only tightish player to my left. First hand I raise with QT on button and he wakes up with KK... . Eddie the Eagle had all the chips after the deck had smacked him in the face!! Most of us had between 10k and 20k with the average at 25k and we were playing for 2nd at that stage. Once the blinds hit 1500-3000 it was all-in or fold for most of us and I couldn't find many positions to push... survived till 5th for €150.

pillowtalk, NorwichFanRob and Adam are still in. They'll need a double up or two to take it from Eddie though!
4700 for first and 900 for second.

Got HU with Eddie chip stacks were allong the lines of me 50k, eddie a gazillion.

we did some business and decided on 2k for me, 3k for him and play for the 600 change.

An hour later and we both had exactly the same in chips and decided to just split the 600, so 2300 for me 3300 for the eagle.

I didnt really want to deal but I think it made sense considering eddies lead and the fact he was hitting cards and playing well.

Enjoyable tourney, playing standard was quite high.

nice one eoin, i had a feeling whichever of us won that pot to get heads up with eddie was capable of making a comeback. (but that said, i think i woulda taken 2k also with the stacks at the time).
was an enjoyable tourney, just lost a couple of key pots at the wrong time, but nice structure, and nice to get out playing live again.

started this with Mr pillow talk on my table and Phil(bad beat harris ) as well.
then Bob(the fock) joins the table and some other loosy loon they call Lesley.
a few hands in to the game blinds still 25/50 and i make it 250 from UTG+1.
i get one caller (very weak player) and then its folded to Bob(the fock) on the BB.
he makes it 500 to go and i know he hasnt got sh1t.
its back to me and im thinking what to do with this now.i thought well any reraise is really going to tell them what my hand is so i may as well make it a big one incase any of them wants to play.
i make it 2K to play and the weak dude folds and Bob(the fock) asks me how much i have and then flat calls.

    Flop comes 2s 7d Qh .
Bob pushes for another 3K and i inst call.
    Bob(the fock) has 8s 9s.

turn Qs and river 5s to give him a flush.
he then laughs and takes the pot.
5 min later he blows it all on a a baord of 98TQK with Bob holding 92.
i let you guess what the other dude had.

anyways its rebuy time for me and a few hands in to rebuy blinds at 100/200 i run in to another fish kown as Mr Pillow talk.

he raises from UTG to 600.
Bob(the fock) calls and so does Lesly.

im on the BB with 88.
there is 2K in the pot now and i know the only person to worry about is Mr Pillow talk here as the other two dont really have sh1t.
so i make it 3500 to go thinking Pillowtalk will fold everything but QQ+ here.

the fish thinks and then pushes for another 2K which i have to call and he has AQs.

AQK flop and thats pretty much the end of me.

im glad at least that half my chips got used better than the other half.
    Bob (the fock).

id love to hear the thinking from pillowtalk, about reraising all from utg with aq, when there are 2 callers and a reraiser of his original raise:eek: , with the blinds at 100/200.. Seems like to big a pot with aq this early, ..

Must have had some read.. The only thing i can think of is that he put the two middle fish on nothing, and realising you would have known this , didnt put you on a huge hand either, Maybe he realised you knew he would be good enough to lay down all buy aa or kk...

Love to hear, it as its a definate muck and forget for me!!!!

This to me is a great tourny hand..

was at the final table, crashed in 7th/8th i think. eddie (monster stack) raises under the gun to 9,000, (1000,2000) folds to me in the small blind and i see 99. I think he has a wide range and im ahead as he sometimes likes to play Ax Kx a lot so i push all in for 25,000.

He calls with Ah 8h, board 10 7 5 4 A  gutted :) would have been going alright after this.

Anyway, well done in making the money everyone.

I spoke to Pillow talk after and he said that he didn’t think I had much of a hand.
However I still disagree and think it was a bad call from him.
What was certain was that I was ahead of him .if he had my range on TT+,AK I have him crushed .
He has 600 invested and has about another 4500 left in his stack, which is very, playable at 100/200 .i thought he should have folded in this spot.

But it was BOB and LESLIE that called the initial 600, so Eoin would have assumed you would know both these players in which case you would be very likely to jam with any 2 cards. I probably would in that spot!

ah so that was you.nice to put a face to name.
it wasnt the first time ive played with him and it wasnt the first time he has given a beat like that to some1.
i just really wanted to win it last night as i really wanna play the EPT and to get done with something like that at the start really put me in a downer for the rest of the nite.
specially the way i know he will piss it all away later and he has like 0% chance of making money.

Nail on the head here KP wp.

I wasnt utg, gholi was bb I was mp, I open for 600 table has been playing v loose with bob and leslie sitting behind me, bob and leslie both flat call if either had anything half decent I would have found a raise behind me here. Gholi makes it 3500 to go and I thought about folding but when I considered that he knows bob and leslie have crap there is so much dead money in the pot that his range is quite large here. Gholi plays a similar style to myself and I felt that with the action in the hand I could have made it 3500 in his spot with any pair any half decent ace and KQ so I think Im ahead of his range and stick it in for 6k total fully expecting to be called and to be in decent shape.

I agree with what you are saying about Bob(the Fock) and Leslie.
I wasn’t worried about them at all.
However I don’t agree that you can ever be ahead of my rang here as I don’t believe I would raise here with just any 2.
Infact I would drop any A below AQ (would prob drop AQ here as well). Anything else such as KQ or any other suited connecter I would just call here.
That leaves AK, and pocket pairs. Which means you going in behind even if you’re not much behind. Considering you still have your second buy-in stack pretty much intact IMO this is a fold.
I agree that I would have a wider range than normal for making that raise but I disagree with your comment about being ahead of my range, as I don’t think you are ever ahead here.

In effect the pot is 7200 and I have 5400 back Im happy to race here.

yeah theres no difference really as you cant fold for the last 2400, in fact Id call quicker because I would probably completely rule you out of having AA KK QQ. I dont shove this pot every time I just felt you werent that strong and I was playing the player eg if eggie had of made the same move as you I would fold.
