Suggestion: Theory Sticky

How about some sort of poker theory sticky or something along those lines? There are some excellent posts on the subject but they tend quickly to get submerged in the rest of the crap.

The search function is only so useful, surely there must be some way to prevent such posts, created at considerable effort I'm sure, from being so diluted.

I think the problem with this is 'What constitutes theory'? I think a lot of hand discussions fall into this as they are all dependent on fundamentals of odds, position, how to treat specific types of opponents. I don't think it would be feasible to narrow it down to other types of issues, as possibly having several different legitimate discussions at once in a stickied thread would dilute the focus imo.

Is there not a way to keep a list of favoured threads in your own personal account information? I am not sure, but surely there is.

I'd imagine the answer will be that there are too many stickies as it is. But my suggestion is that good theory threads get linked from Musicians beginner FAQ, and/or from the poker WIKI.

it's easy: theory threads go in the forum, tournament threads go in the tournament section, and everything else goes in the sticky.

Yes, what I was trying to suggest was a thread with links to previous threads containing particularily useful discussions, not a general poker theory discussion sticky.

Something along the lines of what 2+2 have.
