well ye probably won't be going out in piskapiano. Ye'll go out in hersonissos or i would recomment malia, the english resort...about 15 mins in a taxi down the road. players bar in hersonissos is a good laugh although i'm not sure how busy it'll be at this time of the year. pay a visit to star beach. also, piskapiano is up on the mountainside so be prepared to walk....

I personally wouldnt recomend Mailia - i was there in June this year and the english louts were out in force - we went into malia about 8 and left it by 12 - not a very pleasant atmosphere - we arent the quitest bunch ourselves - even our mate who stayed in malia the year before said it was way worse. however at this time of year may be an option

As for piskapano - its very quite little village in the mountains but really nice - great place to eat out for very very cheap - good selection. Night life if you and lively you after then players in hersonissis is deffo tha best place to start - just at the top of the strip - cant miss it

Dude its dead at this time. Went 2 weeks ago for a week and its far less busy at the end of the holiday. Piskopiano/Koufolania is only good for eating out then you'll have to head to Hersonissos (20-30min walk or hire quad bike/scooter)
Malia, well you have to do it once (drinks half the price and twice the size than in Hersonissos) but I'd strongly recommend taxi out of there before closing, everywhere stops at same time and everyone spills onto street and being an English resort its guaranteed trouble.

BTW; If you're gettin taxis (as you probably will being stuck up on the mountainside) don't let the drivers rip you off. Average price should be about €5-7 max from Hersonissos to Piskopiano but they tried charging anything up to €20 with us

Ah don't say dead! Please god tell me there'll still be craic in Hersonissos and Malia? I'm guessing thats where we'll be going out every night.

As for English - that really dosen't bother me, in fact I love english ladies ;)

Yeah, if you're on the pull you should be shot if ya don't score in Malia (words barrel, fish and shooting spring to mind).
As for Hersonnissos it might have picked up since I was there, a lot depends on when other nationalities take their holidays, you might end up with less Irish but more Dutch, German, Slovakian, Norwegian (which aint neccessarily a bad thing ;) )

Don't go near Malia it's full of lager louts,Piskopiano is a lovely little village right at the top beside the mountain, myself and my ex bird stayed there in apartments 2 years ago and had a good time.
